Set up

Friday we became familiar with the history of the Navajo people and had a tour of the kitchen. Then it’s time to get to work setting up for the arrival of the ladies. Once the women began to arrive it was not stop for the next 24 plus hours.

Steve and Ozzie washed dishes, made coffee, washed dishes, helped set up tables,made coffee,  washed dishes, helped the ladies up and down stairs, made coffee, washed dishes, carried luggage for the guests, made coffee, and washed dishes.

 We had several committees, each responsible for one aspect of the prep. The decorations committee designed and made all of the decorations for the retreat including the table decorations.
