Our next stop was the Canyon de Chelly, pronounced d'shay. Some describe it as a smaller Grand Canyon. The canyon floor is surrounded by red cliffs that soar high into the sky. One of the overlooks looks down on Spider Rock, an 800-foot freestanding spire. People have lived in these canyons for nearly 5000 years and continue to do so. The only way to describe this experience is "When I in awesome wonder consider all the worlds thy hand has made.....Ho Great Thou Art!
This blog is about the mission team from Emmanuel Faith Community Church that is going to Broken Arrow Bible Ranch in New Mexico to minister to the Navajo Women in April 2017.
