In closing

The time spent serving these beautiful Navajo women touched each one of us. We grew as a team and as individuals. We were extremely touched. Thank you so much for your prayers and support. We could not have done this without you.

Gifts

During the meals each of the ladies had the opportunity to choose a gift. Thanks to the generosity of our supporters they had wide variety from which to choose.

Crafts

Two craft projects were planned for the women to enjoy. On Friday evening they made prayer journals and on Saturday they were able to create bookmarks.

Beautiful Navajo Women

The women of the Navajo Nation are incredible. Coming to this retreat is so important to them, they scrimp and save to be able to attend. They are loving, giving, caring women. Our lives were touched and changed by these beautiful ladies.

Teaching

During the retreat there were 3 breakout or teaching sessions. Each session began in the chapel with singing praises and ladies sharing from their hearts. They then broke into two groups. One group returned to the lodge where they were taught in Navajo. The remainder stayed in the chapel where Leslie shared from her heart about Our Great God.
